23. Cashew cheese
SPREADABLE CASHEWS WITH TURMERIC AND SICHUAN PEPPER:
100g of soaked cashews
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon of Sichuan pepper
1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
a splash of water or extra virgin olive oil (only if needed for blending!)
💡The cashews should be soaked for at least 5 hours, up to overnight. If it's hot and you don't have time to continue with the preparation, change the water and move them to the fridge. If you're in a hurry, you can soak them in hot water and they will soften faster.
💡You can store these spreads in the fridge for up to 5 days, or you can also freeze them and consume within 3 months.
